TITLE: Revenue Cycle Supervisor

LOCATION: Costa Mesa, CA (Onsite)

SCHEDULE: Full-time

PAY: $35.00 - $45.00 Hour DOE

This is the pay range that BAHAMA Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• This individual will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the revenue cycle.
• Has direct responsibility for overseeing workflows and processes as well as continuously looking for improvements in the revenue cycle.
• This position will require the ability to manage difficult and complex issues along with providing action plans to resolve obstacles that maybe impactful to the revenue cycle.
• In addition, this position is responsible for overseeing the recruitment, hiring, training and development and retention of staff.
• Supports the Principal, Revenue Cycle Operations and responds positively to special projects and responsibilities, including performance objectives.
• Responsible to make sure that the monthly month end process is finalized.
• Oversees staff and ensures that work strategies are set for each area of the revenue cycle.
• Responsible for training, onboarding, and mentoring of staff.
• Accommodates and adapts to change as environmental, organizational, workload, task, direction and other conditions change in a constructive and positive manner.
• Manages conflict, disagreement and discord among and between staff and work units, while recognizing and addressing sensitivities and stakeholder needs.
• Demonstrates ability to work with a diverse group of people in a manner that enables them to reach their full potential, in pursuit of organizational objectives.
• Maintains knowledge of technology, tools, equipment and other devices in work area.
• For clinical position this includes equipment and devices pertinent to treatment, procedures and practice.
• Establishes effective working relationships with others, contributing to a climate of mutual respect and cooperation.
• Demonstrates full knowledge and understanding of concepts and procedures needed to be successful in the role, including knowledge of applicable department, organization and external rules and regulations impacting day to day processes.
• Position may require local travel between various Organization locations.

SKILLS:

• Experience supervising a revenue cycle team.
• Demonstrates competence in technology skills required for the role, as well as ability to learn and master new skills.

EDUCATION:

• Required education: Associate’s Degree, preferably in Healthcare Administration (OR) 3-5 plus years of relevant experience in provider-based billing in healthcare.
• Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration with 5 plus years supervisory experience with emphasis physician revenue cycle.
• Preferred Certifications & Licensure: Certified coder (CPC)
