Our client in the art industry is seeking a Gallery Associate to join their team. As a Gallery Associate, you will be part of the exhibition space team at the Shops Sheboygan WI supporting the day-to-day operations of the space during public visiting hours. Customer service skills with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences, a warm, welcoming demeanor with attention to detail and a passion for the arts, strong organizational and communication abilities, and flexibility to work varied hours, primarily weekends. Art, Art History, or Design students are encouraged to apply.
Job Title: Gallery Associate / Store Associate / Customer Service
Location: Sheboygan, WI
What's the Job? - Perform opening and closing duties for the exhibition space during designated public operating hours.
- Assist with special events at the gallery.
- Ensure all guests receive a welcoming and memorable experience.
- Maintain records of daily and weekly foot traffic, capturing visitor contact information.
- Conduct engaging and informative tours of the art on display.
- Maintain high visual standards throughout the space.
What's Needed? - Background in art, art history, or gallery retail preferred.
