Senior Front Desk Coordinator – Dental Office

Job Type: Full-time

Excel Dental Care is seeking an experienced and highly organized Senior Front Desk Coordinator to lead our front office team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in dental office administration who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The Senior Front Desk Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring seamless office operations, excellent patient experiences, and efficient scheduling.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily front desk operations, ensuring a smooth patient flow
• Greet and check in patients with professionalism and courtesy
• Manage appointment scheduling and recall systems for optimal efficiency
• Verify insurance benefits, process claims, and handle patient billing inquiries
• Train and mentor front desk staff, providing leadership and support
• Handle patient concerns and coordinate with clinical staff to resolve issues
• Maintain compliance with office policies and ensure accuracy in patient records

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a dental front desk or administrative role
• Strong knowledge of dental insurance verification and billing procedures
• Proficiency in dental software (Open Dental experience preferred)
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a busy environment
• RDA is a plus
