About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its two all-boys public charter schools. The successful candidate will be a transformative leader with a strong focus on improving academic outcomes, streamlining operations, and ensuring the delivery of a rigorous, values-aligned education. This role requires a dynamic individual capable of navigating complex challenges and with experience in building and maintaining systems for effective instruction, culture support, and teacher and leader development. The CEO will be responsible for driving systemic change, working closely with local stakeholders, and ideally, becoming a national champion for boys' education. Strategic leadership, academic performance, school culture, people development, and external relationship building are key areas of focus for the next CEO. Applicants for the CEO position at the company should have a bachelor’s degree (master’s or terminal degree preferred) and at least 10 years' of professional experience in charter school or nonprofit management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in improving educational outcomes, managing and developing academic teams, and supporting the attainment of successful academic outcomes. Strong leadership, financial management, and fundraising skills are essential. The role demands an individual with excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to navigate political nuances and work in a dynamic environment. The CEO will be expected to be a brand ambassador, deepening existing relationships and expanding the network, and must be committed to the mission, vision, and core values of the organization.
