**Anesthesia Tech - Northwest Tucson Surgery Center - 5 OR suite ambulatory surgery facility**

**Full Time Monday through Friday**

**$10,000 for Student Loan Repayments**

As an Anesthesia Tech, at Northwest Tucson Surgery Center, you'll play a vital role in doing what you do best- providing quality care to our patients. **Requirements:**

+ Completion of Anesthesia Tech, EMT, Surgical Tech or similar course -OR- 1 year experience as an Anesthesia Tech can substitute for education requirement.

+ **Preferred:** Two (2) years anesthesia technician experience.

+ **Required:** Current BLS (Basic Life Support) - Due by close on the last day of the month after one full month of work.

**About the Job:**

+ Responsible for assisting anesthesia providers as directed including but not limited to assistance during patient inductions.

+ Responsible for the care and maintenance of the anesthesia machines.

+ Assists Anesthesiologist by setting-up equipment and preparing medications. Orders, stocks, tests, and maintains anesthesia supplies, medications, and equipment. Washes and sterilizes re-usable equipment and reports malfunctioning equipment to appropriate personnel.

**Licenses/Certifications:**

Required: American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS.

Preferred: Cer. A.T. or Cer. A.T.T.
