Job Description

The Training Project Coordinator will be in charge of coordinating and executing the training for new products/initiatives, new restaurant openings, as well as creating the training materials needed to provide a consistent, stable, well-built learning experience for our team members. This role needs to be the liaison with Human Resources, Operations, Operation Services and the different support areas to stay current on company’s product launches and business developments in order to guarantee consistency and clarity on messages to convey.

Key Responsabilities:

  • Manage and coordinate training programs for New Restaurant Openings (NRO) and field initiatives.
  • Collaborate with operations and HR to meet NRO training milestones.
  • Maintain NRO communication and update stakeholders.
  • Oversee training budgets and compliance.
  • Review and enhance training programs and materials.
  • Support restaurant managers in executing training plans and talent development.
  • Implement and manage the in-house trainer program.
  • Monitor certifications and order training resources.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements.
  • Provide administrative support for NRO training as needed.
  • Stay updated on industry training trends and technologies.

Requirements:

  • BSc in Organizational Development, Training & Development, Human Resources or related field or relevant field preferred.
  • Knowledge about traditional and modern training methods and techniques.
  • 3+ years of experience restaurant management/leadership role, 2+ years of new restaurant openings experience/project management.
  • Resourceful, proactive, adaptable, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and willingness to learn.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, attention to detail and ability to work independently with excellent time management.
  • Confidence and ability to influence others, to provide and receive feedback, to facilitate processes, and coach/advise others.
  • Proven ability to own multiple projects, manage them and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency using MS Office suite and project management tools.
  • Availability to travel up to 25% for extended periods of time.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish required.
