Individually or in a team, create process documentation of an area under audit or being considered for audit. Within that documentation, identify all existing controls and identify potential control weaknesses. Test controls deemed to be significant or critical. Complete substantive audit testing procedures for assigned projects.
10 - 15% Oversee Internal Audit students and perform various supervisory duties, including help hire and evaluate students, schedule and monitor work hours, review and provide feedback. Acquire and analyze data to plan and perform audits.
5 to 10% Assist the Chief Audit Executive in identifying risks and developing the annual audit plan to mitigate those risks. Update and develop audit programs, questionnaires, and other testing documents/templates for use by Internal Audit staff and students.

Education:
Requires a relevant Bachelor's Degree with preference towards Accounting degree. Preference for candidates with documented GPA of 3.0 or greater both overall and in major.
Licenses/Certifications/Requirements:
Preference for candidate for CPA (Certified Public Accountant), and/or CIA (Certified Internal Auditor)
Experience:
Recent graduate or limited experience acceptable.Candidate should be able to demonstrate technical skills commensurate with education and experience along with highly developed interpersonal skills, communication skills (both oral and written), and strong technology skills required. Strong critical thinking skills required, including the ability to analyze data and information to draw informed conclusions required. Knowledge of fund accounting (highly preferred) and highly developed organizational skills preferred.
