We are looking for a skilled and reliable Small Engine Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of small engines used in equipment such as lawnmowers, zero turns, stand on mowers, sit down mowers, agricultural equipment, generators, and more. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with small engine repair and a strong understanding of engine mechanics.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair small engines and related equipment, including lawnmowers and small to medium agricultural equipment. 
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, spark plug replacement, air filter cleaning, and blade sharpening.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and fuel system issues in small engines.
• Inspect equipment to identify signs of wear or damage and recommend necessary repairs or replacements.
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including parts used and time spent on repairs.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with customers about repairs and maintenance needs.
• Keep work area clean, organized, and safe, adhering to all safety regulations.
• Assist with inventory management of parts and supplies.
• Stay up-to-date on new tools, techniques, and industry trends related to small engine repair.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Small Engine Mechanic or in a similar mechanical repair role.
• Strong knowledge of small engine mechanics, including engines, carburetors, fuel systems, and electrical components.
• Ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of small engines and equipment.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and hand tools to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
• Valid driver’s license (preferred).
• Certification in small engine repair or related field is a plus, but not required.
