Job Purpose

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEO Specialist to join our team. This role focuses on Off-Page SEO strategies, including sourcing and acquiring high-quality backlinks for a diverse portfolio of clients. The position also involves contributing to On-Page SEO efforts , optimizing page content, conducting keyword research, and assisting with additional SEO tasks for Shopify-based e-commerce stores. Additionally, the role includes Content SEO , such as identifying high-volume topics, creating, and publishing SEO-optimized content to drive organic growth.

Role and Responsibilities

1. Off-Page SEO:

• Source and acquire high-quality backlinks across a portfolio of clients on a monthly basis.
• Conduct competitor backlink analysis and execute strategies to enhance domain authority.
• Collaborate with team members to develop effective link-building campaigns.

1. On-Page SEO:

• Optimize product and collection pages on Shopify-based e-commerce sites for search engine visibility.
• Conduct keyword research to identify opportunities for organic growth.
• Implement meta tags, headers, internal linking, and other SEO best practices.

1. Content SEO:

• Identify potential high-volume and relevant content topics.
• Work with writers and designers to create and publish engaging SEO-optimized content.
• Analyze content performance and refine strategies to improve results.

1. Reporting and Analysis:

• Use SEO tools such as Looker Studio, SEMrush, or similar software to track and report on SEO performance.
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis.

Qualification Requirements

• 3-4 years of hands-on E-commerce SEO experience , with a preference for candidates familiar with Shopify.
• Agency experience is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in SEO tools SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar software.
• Proficiency in creating reporting in Looker Studio and Supermetrics.
• Demonstrated expertise in acquiring backlinks and executing successful link-building campaigns.
• Strong understanding of On-Page SEO strategies, including keyword research, content optimization, and technical SEO fundamentals.
• Experience in content ideation and publication for SEO purposes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive insights from data.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple client portfolios and priorities.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Shopify's ecosystem and SEO challenges.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, or JavaScript is a plus.
• Strong understanding of SEO for e-commerce, including product and collection page optimization.
• Experience with replatforming to Shopify

Physical Demands

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. The position is remote and working on EST or PST hours.
