The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

 

As a Product Owner, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Sequentially leads cross-functional project teams to successful completion of projects that are typically small to medium in scale with the risk confined to the project and low to moderate business (typically Department/Division) impact. Projects often overlap in time such that more than one project may be led at a time. Representative complexity of a typical project would be < 6 key deliverables (1), 6-12 months in duration, with 5-10 team members.
•  Collaborates with Program Manager, business management, stakeholders, and project team members to refine project scope, and define project plan utilizing pre-existing Work Breakdown Structures (2), such as a new product introduction process or software development methodologies. Works with stakeholders to define communication plans and executes them within organization to ensure project support.
• Possesses expertise in project leadership that is recognized within the Business/Staff Unit. Demonstrates competency in project leadership at an individual Project level. Encourages the use of the Project Management process and associated tools within the project team and the Division/Staff unit. Maintains knowledge of external activities in project leadership process and tools development and applies learnings to ongoing projects.
• Serves as mentor/coach to new team members, local management, and stakeholders. Provides training on existing project leadership tools and methodologies to team members, typically exempt and non-exempt employees across disciplines. May present to the external project leadership community. Provides direct task-level guidance to team members as necessary.
• Make recommendations and advise on process improvements and optimization opportunities.

Your Skills and Expertise

 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND five (5) years of experience in the Advantage Center

OR

• High School Diploma/GED from AND nine (9) years of experience in the Advantage Center

AND

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:

• Eight (8) years’ experience across various order to cash functions within the Advantage Center.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Five (5) years’ experience in business process analysis including identifying inefficiencies, and recommending optimal business practices, and process re-engineering.
• Five (5) years of project management experience to include scoping, evaluating milestones, building task plan, scheduling meetings and presenting to stakeholders.
• Five (5) years of call center and payor claims processing in a private, public, government or military environment.

• Defining the vision for the team’s product.
• Creating a product road map based on this vision.
• Managing the product backlog and prioritizing them based on changing requirements.
• Overseeing all stages of product creation including design and development.
• Developing user stories.
• Monitoring and evaluating product progress at each stage of the process.
• Liaising with the product team and end-users to deliver updates.
• Participating in Scrum meetings and product sprints.

Work location: Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to San Antonio, TX at least 2 days per week)

Travel: May include up to 10% domestic/international

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $137,439 - $167,981, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
