Senior Architectural Construction Administrator – Multifamily Housing

Location: Irvine, CA (Hybrid/Remote with site visits)

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Construction Administrator to oversee construction administration services for a major multifamily housing project in Irvine, CA .

Role Overview:

The Senior Construction Administrator will be responsible for managing construction administration services for a large-scale multifamily housing project in Irvine, CA. This role requires an experienced professional who can effectively coordinate between design teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide construction administration (CA) services for a large multifamily housing development in Irvine, CA.
• Conduct on-site visits (2-3 times per week) to monitor progress, review construction quality, and resolve field issues.
• Collaborate with project architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure design intent is maintained.
• Review and respond to RFIs, submittals, and change orders efficiently.
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical guidance on construction-related matters.
• Identify potential conflicts and proactively implement solutions to avoid delays.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and industry standards.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• 10+ years of architectural experience in multifamily housing , with a strong emphasis on construction administration .
• Architectural license preferred, but not required.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, construction documentation, and field coordination.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively between contractors, consultants, and internal teams.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in construction administration tools, such as Bluebeam, Procore, or similar software .
