About the Role:

A public works contractor specializing in roofing, waterproofing, and sheet metal services is seeking a dedicated Project Engineer/Project Manager. Employment-based visa sponsorship, including H-1B, is available for qualified candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage laborers on job sites daily.
• Collaborate closely with the project manager to ensure project success.
• Interpret and understand construction plans, specifications, and related documents.
• Define project scope and allocate necessary resources.
• Prepare and manage preconstruction documents.
• Assist in developing project schedules, budgets, and quality assurance plans.
• Plan and supervise daily on-site activities.
• Communicate project details effectively with foremen and serve as the main point of contact.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of construction principles, techniques, and procedures.
• Willingness to travel and work overtime as required.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office; experience with Viewpoint Spectrum, Viewpoint Team, Bluebeam, On-Screen Take-off, and Quick Bid is a plus.
• Prior experience in project coordination is preferred.
• Experience with a roofing contractor

Additional Information:

• The role requires 75% travel.
• Bilingual in English and Korean is a plus but not required.
