Job Title: MRI Technologist
Location: New York, NY
Pay Rate: $50 - $53/hour
Shift: Varied shift (will be discussed with the Hiring Manager at the time of an interview)

• Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images as per physician orders.
• Educate and guide patients through MRI procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Properly position patients and adjust MRI settings for optimal image clarity.
• Adhere to strict safety protocols, including screening for contraindications (e.g., pacemakers, metal implants).
• Maintain and report any issues with MRI machines and related equipment.
• Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to review images and assist in diagnoses.
• Administer contrast agents as needed and monitor for any adverse reactions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging reports using hospital systems.
• Adapt to flexible schedules, including weekends, overnight shifts, and variable hours.
• Ensure compliance with ARRT, ARMRIT, and facility-specific guidelines.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist.
• Hospital experience required.
• Must be able to administer contrast injections.
• Active MRI certification and registration from ARRT or ARMRIT.
