Job Description

Our client, a leading player in the food production industry, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join their team. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting a dynamic team dedicated to operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor - 2nd Shift

Location: Fairfield, OH

Pay Range: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour, based on experience

What's the Job?

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the maintenance team, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure the reliability and longevity of equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues within the facility.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards, including HACCP and GMP.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role, preferably in the food industry.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and standards, including HACCP and GMP.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
