Our client is seeking to hire an experienced and motivated Legal Assistant- Litigation to join their team! They are a family law firm, located in downtown Chicago.

Legal Assistant- Litigation Responsibilities:

• High-volume scheduling, coordination of depositions, and supporting partners
• Administrative duties including scheduling, organizing, and correspondence
• Assist in the preparation of legal documents and correspondence, drafting revisions, and filing
• Maintain and organize electronic case files
• Work with partners and associates to manage cases
• Handle e-filing in federal and state courts, as well as the Court of Appeals

Legal Assistant- Litigation Requirements:

• 4+ years of legal assistant experience, ideally in a law firm
• Litigation support experience
• Extensive experience in discovery
• Experience with E-Filling
• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks
• Ability to manage high expectations and work with strong personalities
• Proficient in the Odyssey platform
• Experience with IManage is a plus
• Excellent writing, communication, and multitasking abilities
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under pressure
