The Designery Overland Park is looking for a skilled Kitchen, Bath & Closet Designer to join our team!

As a creative Kitchen, Bath & Closet designer , you’ll bring your expertise in cabinetry design to help clients visualize and achieve their dream spaces —all while earning a competitive salary with strong commission potential.

What You’ll Do:

• Design Custom Solutions: Use ProKitchen software to create stunning, functional 3D designs for kitchens and bathrooms. Use ClosetPro software to design functional closets.
• Sell with Confidence: Guide clients through the design-to-installation process , presenting designs, providing quotes, and closing sales.
• Engage with Clients: Conduct consultations with homeowners, builders, and contractors to understand their vision and deliver exceptional service.
• Manage Projects: Ensure smooth execution from design approval to installation, coordinating with vendors and ensuring accuracy in orders.
• Stay Ahead of Trends: Keep up with the latest in cabinetry, finishes, and storage solutions to provide expert recommendations.
• Drive Business Growth: Network with industry professionals and cultivate referral relationships with builders and designers.
• Adhere to Compliance and Ethics: Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, brand guidelines and ethical standards to maintain the company’s reputation.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree or certification in interior design , or related field preferred.
• Recent graduates are welcome ; training will be provided for suitable candidates
• 2+ years of experience in kitchen, bath, and/or closet design & sales is preferred.
• Proficiency in ProKitchen software is preferred.
• Cabinetry product knowledge and experience working with builders, contractors, and high-end residential clients.
• Exceptional communication, organization, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• A valid driver's license and willingness to travel within our assigned territory (most of Johnson County)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

Benefits:

• Employee discount

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Ability to Commute:

• Overland Park, KS 66209 (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Overland Park, KS 66209: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)
