Our client is seeking to hire a motivated Jr. Litigation Legal Assistant to join their team! They are a litigation and medical malpractice law firm located centrally downtown Chicago.

Jr. Litigation Legal Assistant Responsibilities:

• High-volume scheduling, coordination of depositions, and supporting partners
• Administrative duties including scheduling, organizing, and correspondence
• Assist in the preparation of legal documents and correspondence, drafting revisions, and filing
• Maintain and organize electronic case files
• Work with legal assistants and associates to manage cases
• Handle e-filing in federal and state courts, as well as the Court of Appeals

Jr. Litigation Legal Assistant Requirements:

• 2+ years of legal assistant experience, ideally in a law firm
• Litigation experience
• Experience drafting motions, subpoenas and discoveries.
• Experience with e-filing in federal/state courts and Court of Appeals
• Able to work downtown Chicago 5 days a week for one month, then work in-office 4-3 days a week.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks
• Ability to manage high expectations and work with strong personalities
• Proficient in MS Office, Zoom, Adobe
• Excellent writing, communication, and multitasking abilities
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under pressure
