Interior Designer – Mixed-Use Team

Our client is growing! As an award-winning, full-service interior design and architecture firm based in New York City, we push the boundaries of design, crafting intentional and inviting spaces. An innovative and collaborative approach allows us to create exceptional environments for High-end Residential, Commercial, Hospitality and Community projects such as Synagogues.

Divided into two core branches: high-end residential and mixed-use design, they are currently seeking a talented Interior Designer to join their expanding Mixed-Use Design Team , focusing on commercial, hospitality, and multi-family residential projects.

About the Role

With projects varying in scope, some encompassing all phases—from concept development to construction documentation, project management, procurement, and installation. The ideal candidate is adaptable, eager to learn, and ready to contribute at every stage of the design process.

What they're looking for

• Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly convey design concepts
• Highly organized with a strong sense of responsibility
• Collaborative team player with a proactive, self-starting mindset
• Skilled in creating compelling presentation materials
• Practical knowledge of construction processes
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, and Microsoft Office
• 3D modeling experience (SketchUp or Rhinoceros) is a plus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture
• Experience with construction documentation (portfolio should reflect this expertise)
• Knowledge of furniture, finishes, and material specifications (FF&E)
• Must be able to commute to the office
