LDA is an award winning design and innovation consultancy. We create products and experiences that connect people with brands. Located in Orange County, the heart of Southern California, LDA has been developing products for a diverse range of clients both local and international for over 30 years.

LDA is currently looking for an exceptionally talented, highly motivated designer with 2-7 years experience working in a fast paced design driven environment. Our ideal candidate is highly motivated to create great design and has a compelling set of industrial design skills. You will work on a wide variety of products, including housewares, consumer electronics, industrial, medical and technology.

Your responsibilities will include all aspects of the design process, from initial research and concept sketching all the way to follow ups with manufacturing.

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have

• A bachelor or Master’s degree in Industrial Design from an accredited University.
• A minimum of 2 years experience in a fast paced design-driven environment.
• Proficiency in Solidworks with advanced surfacing skills.
• Expertise in Keyshot for creating high-quality renderings.
• Proficiency in the Adobe Creative suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
• An exceptional sense of product aesthetics.
• An understanding of Brand values and how to translate them into great product design.
• Excellent sketching abilities and Innovative concept development skills.
• Strong problem solving, creative thinking and communication skills.
• Ability to conduct in-depth user and market research to guide the design teams.
• Experience working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• An understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.
