Join our team at our newly designed tasting room! We are hiring  Housekeepers to play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and visually appealing environment for both employees and guests. This role is vital to our service standards and service success.

This role requires a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, and the ability to work evening shifts as needed. The target start date for this position is late March to early April.

Job Description

  • Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in tasting rooms, offices, production areas, and public spaces
  • Clean windows, doors, and glass surfaces at standard heights
  • Sanitize restrooms, including sinks, toilets, and mirrors; restock supplies
  • Clean fermentation tanks, barrels, tools, hoses, drains, and other equipment to maintain hygiene standards
  • Promptly clean spills, especially in high-traffic and production areas
  • Maintain patios, walkways, outdoor seating, and landscaped areas by removing trash, debris, and leaves
  • Power wash outdoor surfaces as needed
  • Empty trash, recycling, and compost bins; ensure proper waste disposal per winery policies
  • Monitor waste levels and coordinate vendor removal services
  • Follow OSHA and regulatory guidelines for cleaning and material handling
  • Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors
  • Store and label cleaning supplies properly; monitor and restock inventory
  • Communicate with management to order supplies as needed
  • Assist with setup and cleanup before, during, and after events or tastings
  • Keep public areas presentable for tours and private functions
  • Coordinate with production and front-of-house teams to minimize disruption during cleaning
  • Support departments with tasks like wine bottle polishing, labeling, and stocking
  • Handle unexpected cleaning emergencies promptly
  • Maintain cleanliness in breakrooms and employee areas
Qualifications

  • Previous housekeeping experience preferred, but not required
  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required
  • Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
  • Attention to detail to ensure dishes are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Pay Range: $19.00 - $21.00 an hour. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
