Overview: Pates Pool & Spa is seeking a skilled and reliable Hot Tub Service Technician to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers by maintaining and repairing hot tubs and swim spas. Key Responsibilities:

• Service and Repair: Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on a variety of hot tub and swim spa models.
• Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with customers to explain service needs, repair options, and maintenance tips, ensuring a positive customer experience.
• Installation: Assist with the installation of new hot tubs and swim spas, ensuring all equipment is set up properly and safely.
• Water Testing: Conduct water quality tests and provide recommendations for chemical balancing and maintenance.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate service records and documentation for all repairs and maintenance performed.
• Inventory Management: Manage and track inventory of parts and supplies necessary for service and repair work.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations while performing work.

Qualifications:

• Technical Skills: Experience in mechanical and electrical repair, preferably related to hot tubs, spas, or pool equipment. CHTT, CST or CSP preferred, but not required. 
• Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose issues efficiently.
• Customer Service: Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
• Physical Ability: Must be able to lift and carry heavy equipment, work outdoors, and handle various weather conditions.
• Flexibility: Willingness to travel to customer locations and work flexible hours as needed.
• Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
