Find more information about JP at We are accepting applications for a full-time Grant Writer . The Grant Writer is responsible for writing and reviewing grant proposals for all JP programs. The Grant Writer is a full-time salaried position that includes benefits of paid holidays; generous PTO plan; robust health insurance plan; 401k; summer schedule; and various other health plan options. • 3+ years of successful grant writing experience to foundations, governmental entities, and corporations.
• Determines grant concepts by identifying and clarifying opportunities and needs, studying requests for proposal (RFPs), and attending strategy meetings.

Meets proposal deadline by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering, writing, review, and transmittal. Enters and monitors tracking data. Develops proposal by assembling information including project nature, objectives/outcomes/deliverables, implementation, methods, timetable, staffing, budget, standards of performance, and evaluation. Writes, revises, and edits drafts including executive summaries, conclusions, and organization credentials. Must have strong written and communication skills. Must have a strong attention to detail and time management. Provide additional department support as needed.
