Golf Course Superintendent
Golf Course in Albuquerque, New Mexico is looking for a Golf Course Superintendent.
Position Overview:
To plan, direct, manage and oversee the activities and operations of the Golf Management Division of the Parks & Recreation Department; to supervise the planning, construction and maintenance of golf courses; to coordinate assigned activities with other departments, divisions and outside agencies; and to provide highly responsible and complex administrative support to the Associate Director, Parks & Recreation.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in agronomy or a related field; and
Seven (7) years golf course management and operations experience; and
To include four (4) years direct supervisory experience in a management and/or administrative capacity.
Membership in the Golf Course Superintendent Association of America is preferred.
Possession of a valid driver’s license, or the ability to obtain by date of hire.
Possession of a City Operator’s Permit (COP) within 6 months from date of hire.
Possession of a Public Pest Management Consultant License within six (6) months from date of hire.
Possession of a valid City Applicator’s License within six (6) months from date of hire.
Compensation:
$85,134.40 – $89,398.40 per year.
