Job Description
We are looking for a reliable and physically capable Furniture Delivery Driver to transport and assemble furniture for our customers. The ideal candidate will have experience in driving, loading/unloading heavy items, and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
• Safely load, transport, and deliver furniture to customer locations.
• Inspect furniture for any damages before and after delivery.
• Assemble and set up furniture at the delivery site as needed.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules efficiently.
• Communicate with customers to confirm delivery times.
• Handle furniture with care to prevent damage.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the delivery vehicle.
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Collect payments or obtain delivery confirmations when required.
Requirements:
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience in furniture delivery or moving preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy furniture (50-100 lbs).
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of furniture assembly tools and techniques.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
