Hello and thank you for expressing interest in working with High Speed Welding.
We are a fast growing company looking for highly motivated individuals that want to work in a great environment. We specialized in anodized aluminum welding and fabrication. We build T Tops and Towers for center console boats as well as ladder racks for pickup trucks.
Our products are quality driven, so it’s important that each applicant has an acute attention to detail.
The welding process we primarily use is TIG. TIG welding has a steep learning curve within the anodized aluminum realm. Once you learn how to weld anodized aluminum proficiently, it becomes easy and enjoyable.
Our vision is to provide high-quality products that we can step back and be proud to have produced. Most of our products are accessories to expensive trucks and boats. It’s important that our products reflect the quality of their installed application.
We expect our employees to work at least 40 hours each week. During our spring and summer season, overtime is available and at times required. Our start time is 7:30 each morning. Early mornings, evenings, and weekends are available for overtime.
Our starting pay for experienced workers is $20.00 per hour (before benefits). Pay is based on skillset, work ethic, and experience. We strive to have our employees be the best they can be, so guidance is offered to employees that are seeking to increase their skills. Employee evaluations are performed every 12 months. Full-time employees are qualified to earn 6 paid holidays and 6 paid days off each year. We also have weekly bonus opportunities based on production.
Our shop is located near the airport in Wilmington, NC. Our area offers a coastal living atmosphere. We work hard during the week so we can play hard on the weekends. Most of our employees enjoy the outdoors and being near the water. Working on boats goes hand and hand with the hobbies that surround them.
