Overview

We’re looking for a CRO-driven strategist who can transform customer behavior into breakthrough digital performance.

At AKIRA, fashion moves fast—and so do we. As our Digital Experience Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind optimizing the customer journey on ShopAKIRA.com with one mission: maximize conversion. From click to checkout, you’ll use data, tools, and instincts to eliminate friction, increase engagement, and turn browsers into buyers.

This is a high-impact role for someone obsessed with how users shop, navigate, and convert. You’ll analyze every step of the experience, recommend improvements, and execute a roadmap of ongoing optimizations that lift performance and revenue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and lead all Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) efforts across the site
  • Identify friction points through deep analysis using GA4, Hotjar, Crazy Egg, Shopify Analytics, and customer behavior tools
  • Build and manage a robust CRO testing program (A/B, multivariate, split tests) across the site—homepage, PDPs, PLPs, cart, and checkout
  • Continuously monitor and optimize the customer journey to reduce bounce rate, increase engagement, and improve checkout efficiency
  • Evaluate and refine product carousels, collections, navigation, filtering, and on-site search
  • Audit and improve mobile UX and performance across key devices
  • Deliver data-backed recommendations on merchandising tools, personalization strategies, and content hierarchy
  • Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting on CRO impact and testing results, including clear next steps
  • Collaborate with the eCommerce, product, UX, creative, and dev teams to implement optimizations quickly and effectively

What You Bring

  • 4+ years of experience in eCommerce and Shopify, with a deep focus on conversion optimization
  • Proven success managing CRO programs and optimizing shopping flows for DTC or high-volume brands
  • Expert-level skills with GA4, heat mapping, session replays, user flow analysis, and behavioral segmentation
  • Deep understanding of UX/UI principles, digital psychology, and what drives customers to convert
  • Ability to turn complex data into clear stories and prioritize high-impact optimizations
  • Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Experience implementing or managing third-party CRO tools (e.g., Optimizely, VWO, Convert.com)
  • Familiarity personalization tools and customer segmentation platforms
  • Background in fashion eCommerce or fast-paced DTC environments
