Job Description

A financial group in north Austin is looking to bring on a Customer Service Data Entry Clerk to assist their team on a part time basis. This is an onsite role 5 days/week, roughly 4 hours/day. This role is about 20 hours/week total and pay is $17-22/hr depending on experience. They are looking for someone to start March 1st and stay on through mid-May (with the possibility to extend).

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and respond to emails and phone messages from members updating their dormant accounts.
• Document all phone messages in Excel logs.
• Process and track mail responses related to account updates.
• Conduct outbound calls to members with large balances who have not responded to notices.
• Perform basic account research to locate members with outdated contact information.
• Assist with an out-of-state call list prior to official mailings.
• Support additional administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• Basic Excel proficiency (logging calls, tracking responses).
• Strong communication skills via phone and email.
• Attention to detail and ability to document interactions accurately.
• Research skills to locate members with missing contact information.
• Experience within a financial institution (1+ year) is preferred for temp-to-hire consideration.
