About the Role
The Company is seeking a President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its well-established, urban retirement community. The successful candidate will be a mission-based leader with a strong commitment to the organization's values of integrity, dignity, engagement, caring, and quality. Responsibilities for the CEO include overseeing the overall direction and leadership of the community, leading business plans that reflect the mission and vision, and inspiring innovation and service excellence. The CEO will also be tasked with establishing and maintaining strong relationships with the Board of Directors, the executive leadership team, and the broader community. This role requires a leader with a proven track record in senior care, the ability to develop and implement strategic goals, and a focus on enhancing the lives of residents. Candidates for the CEO position should have a bachelor's degree (advanced degree a plus) and at least 5 years of executive leadership experience in a related field. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of senior services, current industry trends, and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Leadership attributes sought include ethical and honest leadership, a flexible and innovative approach to problem-solving, and a passion for working with seniors. The CEO will also be responsible for financial and operational management, so a strong background in these areas is essential. The role demands a leader who is an effective communicator, empathetic, and capable of building strong partnerships with a wide range of constituents.
