Who You Are: A passionate designer who has general or entry level knowledge in garment construction / design. You thrive in a rapidly changing environment, are curious and have the vision to help build and develop the brand. You are an individual with a strong fashion sense, trend awareness, and industry knowledge. Lastly, you have a genuine interest and eagerness for Menswear. What You'll Do: Design Development Help organize / assist in design presentation Seasonal research including trend and market research General understanding of knit fabrics / sewing techniques Some experience sketching on photoshop and illustrator Create tech packs: proto through to bulk Assist team with proto & production fitting by taking notes and updating relevant changes Fabric/Trim Development A familiarity with cut and sew knit fabrications is a plus Assisting designers organize and store development submits Administrative Duties Daily communication with cross functional teams internally and manage updates and requests Assist in setting up showroom for Internal review, keeping samples organized and accounted for You'll Need to Have: Degree in fashion design or related field Previous work experience in industry is a plus Experienced user of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop Prior experience with PLM is a plus Excellent organizational, time management and communication skills Ability to work in office 3 days a week At Capri, we are all responsible for creating a diverse and inclusive workplace. The salary for this position will vary based on role requirements, skill set and years of experience. Compensation Range: $44,000.00-$73,000.00 Michael Kors
