Job Description

Position Overview: DRG Architects is seeking a passionate and talented Sr.

Interior Designer

to join our team. The ideal candidate will collaborate with clients, architects, and contractors to deliver functional, aesthetic, and innovative design solutions. This role offers a dynamic work environment that encourages creativity and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with clients to understand design needs, preferences, and budgets. Develop and present design concepts, including mood boards, material selections, and color palettes. Create detailed design plans and technical drawings using software such as Revit and Adobe Creative Suite. Specify, document, and manage procurement of furniture, fixtures, equipment, and finishes. Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and other professionals to ensure timely project completion. Oversee all phases of the design process, from conceptual development through construction and installation. Conduct site visits to monitor progress, ensure design integrity, and address any issues. Stay current with industry trends, materials, and technologies to provide cutting-edge design solutions. Prepare project documentation and presentation, including budgets, schedules, and proposals.

Candidate Qualifications:


Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture.


NCIDQ Certification required


LEED/WELL Certification a plus.


5+ years of professional interior design experience, preferably in public or institutional projects.


Business development experience is a plus.


Proficiency in design software, including Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and rendering software.


Strong knowledge of high-end furniture, finishes, materials, and vendors.


Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.


Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management skills.


Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.


Self-motivated, adaptable, and a team player with the ability to work independently.
